VAALA presents Converge, a Little Saigon art exhibition

WESTMINSTER - To celebrate the launch of the book Nghệ Thuật Tạo Hình Việt Nam Hiện Đại, VAALA will present an exhibition titled “Hội Ngộ”/ “Converge”, which will take place from January 30th  through February 4th at Người Việt Gallery, 14771 Moran Street, Westminster, CA 92683.   

The exhibition features the work of thirty artists of various generations, life experiences, and backgrounds including: Ann Phong, Bé Ký, Bùi Xuân Phái, Bửu Chỉ, Cao Bá Minh, Dương Văn Hùng, Đinh Cường, Đỗ Quang Em, Hoàng Đăng Nhuận, Hoàng Ngọc Biên, Hồ Anh, Hồ Thành Đức, Khánh Trường, Lê Bá Đảng, Lương Văn Tỷ, Mai Chửng, Nghiêu Đề, Nguyên Khai, Nguyễn Đình Thuần, Nguyễn Đồng, Nguyễn Thị Hợp, Nguyễn Trọng Khôi, Nguyễn Trung, Nguyễn Tư Nghiêm, Nguyễn Việt Hùng, Rừng, Thái Tuấn, Trịnh Cung, Trương Thị Thịnh, Vũ Cao Đàm.  Together with many other artists, they have helped to create a diverse contemporary Vietnamese art scene, starting from the founding of the l’École des beax-arts d’Indochine in Hanoi in the 1920s and beyond into the 21st Century. 

The exhibition is free and open to the public.
