Tram Le

Art Organizer/Performance artist/Comedian

Tram Le is a Vietnamese woman warrior who was a closeted artist until she was 19 when she co-founded Club O’ Noodles, better known as “the theater group that broke all kinds of social taboos and caused a ruckus in Little Saigon.” Because money was tight being an artist (and because she was young and foolishly in love), she left L.A. and her beloved troupe to pursue a business in NY. After hearing her heart beating through her chest one morning and believing she could die at any moment, she decided that money was never going to buy her happiness, so she returned to L.A. and her first love—the stage. She has not looked back since.

Since then, Tram has been exploring other hidden pleasures of her mind by curating art exhibitions, most notably, F.O.B: A MultiArt Show; directing the first Vietnamese International Film Festival; teaching high school students; and is currently a graduate student in the M.A. program for Asian American Studies at UCLA.
