Artist Profiles

Welcome to the VAALA's Artist Resource Guide!

Vietnamese American Arts & Letters Association (VAALA) is compiling a database of Vietnamese American artists as a resource guide for the community. We hope this VAALA Artists Resource Guide will spark future creative connections and collaborations within our communities and beyond. Please note that in VAALA’s eyes, the term “artists” could mean a variety of creative beings: visual artists, writers, poets, musicians, dancers, digital animators, filmmakers, designers, actors and more.

If you are an artist interested in submitting your information, here are some guidelines to follow:

• Please send a short bio in English, up to 200 words. No resumes please.
• You may attach up to five (5) images of your work and/or of yourself.
• You may include contact info and a link to your Web site.
• All images should be in JPEG format, at 72 d.p.i. and a maximum width of 300 pixels. All incorrectly sized photos submitted will delay the submission process.
• Please keep in mind that it is the responsibility of the artists to update their information with VAALA.

*Note: VAALA reserves the right to not post all or parts of an artist's profile if the content is deemed to go against VAALA's mission. VAALA does not support political or religious proponents. By submitting a profile, the artist gives VAALA editorial rights such that the nature of the information remains unchanged. Bios will be edited to fit the criteria stated above and to fit Associated Press style guide. VAALA is not responsible for the validity of the content supplied by the artist.
